A: UPPLiFT Dentistry is a growing group of like-minded independent dental professionals that know we can accomplish much more by working together than by working alone. UPPLiFT provides a structure for collaboration amongst private practitioners nationwide.  Our mission is Unifying Private Practitioners in the collective effort to support independent ownership.

Q: What does UPPLiFT Dentistry do?

A: UPPLiFT unifies private practitioners in the collective effort to support independent practice. UPPLiFT accomplishes this by coordinating the appropriate sharing of knowledge and resources as well as relationship building  in order to improve the private practice experience, individually and collectively.

Q: Is UPPLiFT Dentistry a purchasing group?

A: No, UPPLiFT Dentistry is not a purchasing group. However, based on the number of members interested in exploring group purchasing options, UPPLiFT may be relied upon to research proposed solutions and make recommendations according to the needs and desires of its members. By joining forces to explore opportunities and implement recommended solutions together, we are able to secure the benefits enjoyed by large organizations without relinquishing practice ownership or clinical autonomy.

Q: Are you saying I’ll be part of a group, not a private practitioner, if I join?

A: You will still be a private practitioner! One of the primary purposes for the creation of UPPLiFT Dentistry is the preservation and promotion of private practice dentistry as the most effective model for achieving the most favorable outcomes for dental professionals, our teams, and our patients. UPPLiFT Dentistry is not a dental service organization (DSO), a dental franchise, or any other iteration of a corporate dentistry organization.

Q: Is this only for Colorado dentists?

A: No, UPPLiFT is for all dentists nationwide.

Q: If I join, do I have to agree to use UPPLiFT’s recommended vendors, suppliers, marketers, etc.?

A: No, you still remain independent. There is no obligation to use vendors we recommend.
